Hidden away at 104 East Watson Street in Historic Windsor, North Carolina is the home of Princesses on a Mission/ Parties with a Mission  Parties – Where the magical journey begins for your daughter. Princesses on a Mission is a 501 (c) (3) charity non profit organization that helps families in Eastern North Carolina. Princesses on a Mission is the ultimate event planning organization that specializes in upscale events for little girls. We create a magical journey that starts when the doors open to their own Cinderella Ball. As the doors are open, a Princess greets your daughter and her guest. They are escorted in, and the magical journey begins. As they walked in, their eyes land on the courtyard. The red carpet is laid with anticipation, and the throne is amazing, the columns are beautiful decorated. As the girls notice the beautiful Princess Gowns. The excitement of picking the right gown is a must. Rushing to try the perfect gown brings giggles and laughter. They place their princess sashes on the gowns, placing beautiful royal jewelry on and rushing to get ready for the Princess Tea.

As they return to the ballroom to a beautiful table set with the most beautiful royal china, with satin tablecloths, cloth napkins and a beautiful Cinderella Carriage. Centerpiece is beautiful vibrant flowers arrangements that are placed in the center of the carriage. The chairs are covered with royal chair covers with satin sashes. In the corner, your eye catches the beautiful white Cinderella Carriage holding a two tier cake, with columns between the layers. Scrimptions food is carefully placed on trays, tea pour in beautiful silver tea pots, waiting to be served.  Your daughter will be escorting by a Princess to her table and her royal tea begins. What a Treat! As the tea is finishing, they are summoned to the courtyard for the Coronation.  With excitement in the air, the coronation begins. The Proclamation is read, a tiara is place carefully on her head. Her face lightens up. She’s now is truly a princess. She is thrilled as she begins to honor her friends by asking one by one to approach her and she begins to read the Proclamation and then proclaims each a Princess. She then places a tiara on each ones head. The Princess March will soon begin, and the magical journey will come to an end, but the memories will last for a lifetime. Princesses overtakes Pizza Inn for Fundraiser

On September 21, Pizza Inn became overrun with Princesses, big and little.  Pizza Inn was painted gold for our fundraiser in the honor of September being Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and our Golden Princesses and Knights. Princesses on a Mission was represented by the Snow Queen , Snow Princess and the Golden Splendor Princess. There were so many giggles, smiles and happy little princesses and pirates when they met our princesses. We had a wonderful time and we were helping families with children with cancer and rare diseases and making awareness of childhood cancer.

 

Applebee’s Meet and Greet

It was a royal event on September 17th at Applebee’s on again. The court consist of the Snow Queen, The Enchanted Forest Princess and the Ocean Princess. When the doors open, the excitement rang through out the Restaurant and was greeted by the Royal Court. It was again a magical event, the staff was also dress as characters. It was a wonderful time. See you next month. While these wonderful families were enjoying their meals and talking with their favorite princess or princesses, they were supporting families with childhood d cancer and rare diseases in Eastern North Carolina.

Princesses on a Mission attends Ahoskie’s Heriage Festival

The smell of Bar-B-Que,  sound of Beach Music playing the 12th annual Ahoskie Heritage Festival was in full swing and offered many activities for people of all ages. There were many smiles of happy children when they saw the Glass Slipper Princesses, The Slumbering Princess, The Golden Splendor Princess and The Royal Snow Family in the parade  and they could not wait until they could met each one of them. There were many pictures taken on that Saturday and memories were made. Our area was visited and we became busy talking about Childhood Cancers and many activities. Our Popular Event was our Teddy Bear Workshop. This consist of  creating your own bear, while these children would busy making their bears, they were helping families in Eastern North Carolina with children with childhood cancer and rare diseases.

Our Princesses were treated to a carriage ride by Mr. and Mrs. Bob Meyers. The Princesses was so surprise and so happy to make the royal ride. Then their royal duties began again. We are had so much fun and our Volunteer Princesses were so gracious.
